Kanchanpur, Dec 8: An irrigation facility was set up at Khajuwapatti in Shuklaphanta Municipality-1, Khanchanpur. The Dhangadhi-based Groundwater Irrigation Office of the Sudurpaschim Province Government supported Rs 5 million for the installation of a deep boring machine to provide irrigation facilities in all seasons in the farmlands there.Chairman of Shuklaphanta Municipality-1 Uttar Dev Bhatta said that the deep boring machine is enough to irrigate 60 bigha of land. Besides the installation of a boring machine, regular power supply, provision of valves and pipelines have been expanded to ensure an uninterrupted irrigation facility.
