The Supreme Court has issued a show-cause order on the writ petition filed by former Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) Executive Director Hitechra Dev Shakya demanding reinstatement to his former position. On Wednesday, a single bench of Justice Kumar Regmi issued a show-cause order in the name of the opposition and summoned both parties for a discussion on the interim order.Shakya, who was appointed Executive Director of the Authority by a cabinet decision on Chaitra 11, 2081, was removed from his post by the government on Asauj 5, 2082.
