Terai Region Experiences Continuous Temperature Rise; Public Advised to Take Precautions
Kathmandu. The temperature in the Terai region is continuously increasing. The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has urged the general public in the Terai region to stay safe from the heat and take precautions.Bibhuti Pokharel, spokesperson for the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, informed that hot winds are predicted to blow in the Terai areas of Sudurpashchim and Lumbini provinces for the next three days, and requested to take precautions as there is a possibility of temperature increase in Bagmati and Gandaki provinces as well.The department forecasts that the maximum temperature in Dhangadhi will reach 40 degrees Celsius in the...
