Nepal's First Dedicated Geriatric Health Center Opens in Kathmandu
Kathmandu. The Nepal Geriatric Health Center has been established to prioritize the health and well-being of senior citizens.The center is located at the Manmohan Memorial College and Teaching Hospital in Swayambhu. Led by Dr. Jagdish Kumar Chhetri, it is reported to be the first health center in Nepal dedicated exclusively to senior citizens.Director Dr. Chhetri stated that the center is staffed by internationally experienced geriatricians, specialist physicians, and physical medicine and rehabilitation experts. He noted that the center was established with the goal of promoting healthy aging, preventive healthcare, and healthy longevity for individuals aged 60 and above.Key services provided...

Supreme Court Section Officer Convicted of Forgery
Kathmandu. Supreme Court Section Officer Mahiman Singh Bista has been convicted of forgery. A bench led by Judge Khimanda Bhusal of the Kathmandu District Court delivered the verdict on Sunday.
