Bhaktapur. The 14th district-level President Running Shield competition has commenced today. The event, organized by the District Sports Development Committee, Bhaktapur, was inaugurated by Bagmati Province Minister for Culture and Tourism, Suresh Shrestha.The competition, which will run until Baisakh 8, will feature volleyball at the Suryabinayak volleyball court, athletics at the Sankata Club ground in Suryabinayak, karate at the Dekacha karate covered hall in Bhaktapur Municipality, taekwondo and wushu at the Changunarayan Helmedanda covered hall, and kabaddi at the Adarsha Secondary School in Sano Thimi.According to the organizing committee chairman, Raju Thapa, 1,126 athletes from four municipalities in the district...
