Convict who escaped prison during Gen-Z protests arrested for theft
Kathmandu. A man who escaped from prison while serving a sentence for rape, taking advantage of the Gen-Z movement, has been arrested for theft. The arrested individual is 31-year-old Umesh Puri, a resident of Tuwachung Jantarkhani Municipality-10, Khotang.SP Manohar Bhatta of the Valley Crime Investigation Office told Rato Pati that he was arrested from Tinkune, Kathmandu, and sent to the Thimi Police Circle for further investigation.
