Opposition parties convene to discuss Public Accounts Committee leadership

Kathmandu. A meeting of opposition parties has commenced at the Nepali Congress parliamentary party office in Singha Durbar.The discussion is focused on fielding a consensus candidate for the chairmanship of the Public Accounts Committee. Historically, the chairmanship of the Public Accounts Committee has been held by the opposition party. Previously, all parliamentary committees were formed on Chaitra 27. The ruling RSP had called a meeting to select committee chairs.
