Haritalika Teej Celebrated by Hindu Women

Kathmandu. Today, Hindu women are celebrating Haritalika Teej by worshipping and venerating the god of gods, Mahadev. The tradition is to observe the Haritalika fast (Teej fast) on the third day of the waxing moon in the month of Bhadra. According to Maharshi Apastamba, the third day of the lunar month, which includes the fourth day, is considered to be the most fruitful for this fast.
