Kathmandu. The CPN (UML) has demanded the immediate release of party Chairman KP Oli and former Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak. General Secretary Shankar Pokhrel informed that the Secretariat meeting held at the UML Central Office in Chyasal on Saturday demanded the immediate release of Oli and Lekhak, stating that their arrests were illegal.The meeting condemned the arrests, concluding that the arrests were contrary to democracy and the rule of law.
