The meeting of the Koshi Provincial Assembly today unanimously passed the bill to amend the 'Provincial Research and Training Academy Act, 2079'.In the meeting, the Provincial Government's Minister for Home Affairs and Law, Indramani Parajuli, proposed that the bill be passed. The proposal was put forth for decision by Speaker Sirjana Danuwar and was passed unanimously.Previously, Koshi Provincial Assembly member Revatiraman Bhandari had presented proposals on five points for the amendment of the bill. Over 100 Corruption Complaints Filed Against Local Governments in Jumla to Regional Anti-Graft Office

One hundred twenty-six complaints related to the eight local levels of Jumla have been filed at the Karnali Province Office of the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) in Surkhet.Dharma Raj Budha, Information Officer at the office, stated that various complaints regarding irregularities and corruption in the local levels were received up to the month of Falgun in the current fiscal year, and 35 of these have been settled.
