Kathmandu. Police have opened fire in Jadibuti, Kathmandu. A team from the District Police Range Kathmandu has arrested a robber by firing shots near Royal Party Palace in Jadibuti. The arrested person is Ganesh Karki, a resident of Bhadrakali, Kathmandu.He sustained a gunshot wound to his left leg. SP Pawan Bhattarai of the District Police Range Kathmandu told Ratopati that the firing was in self-defense during a confrontation with the police in Jadibuti.
