UN Aid Convoy Enters Kobani After Blockade Lifted; Clashes Resume
Kathmandu. Following the lifting of the blockade in Syria, 24 trucks carrying aid materials entered the Syrian city of Kobani with the support of the United Nations. According to the UN humanitarian agency, the convoy delivered food, nutritional supplies, health materials, sanitation supplies, winter necessities, kitchen utensils, and materials for children to the city of Kobani. Commission Files Corruption Charges Against Former Bharatpur Metropolitan Engineer
Kathmandu. The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) on Tuesday filed a charge sheet at the Special Court against Bharat Kumar Acharya, the former Senior Engineer (Officer Eighth Level) of Bharatpur Metropolitan City.The charge sheet was filed at the Special Court on Tuesday alleging that Acharya amassed illicit wealth through acts contrary to his official dignity.
