Janakpurdham. Locals in Janakpurdham have staged a massive protest, alleging that the government is trying to displace them from trust and monastery land. Hundreds of people took to the streets, chanting slogans during a procession around the city, claiming that the current government led by Balendra Shah 'Balen' is trying to make them homeless. The protest, organized by the Guthi-Kuti Land Management Federation Struggle Committee, saw men and women carrying placards. The procession started from Mills Area, passed through Bhanu Chowk, Shiva Chowk, and Janak Chowk, and concluded at Ram Mandir where a memorandum was submitted to the Guthi Sansthan....
