Hetauda. A defamation case has been filed against Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chairman Rajendra Lingden. Seven MPs from the Bagmati Province have filed a defamation case against their own party's central chairman Lingden at the Kathmandu District Court.The MPs have filed a writ petition demanding the maximum punishment and compensation according to the Muluki Criminal Code, alleging that Chairman Lingden made insulting and character-assassinating remarks about the purchase and sale of MPs at a public event organized by the party in Kathmandu.
