Rastriya Prajatantra Party Lawmaker Takes Oath in Sanskrit

Kathmandu. Khushbu Oli, a lawmaker from the Hindu nationalist and monarchist party Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), took her oath in the Sanskrit language. She took the oath in Sanskrit during the swearing-in ceremony held at Singha Durbar on Thursday. She is the only lawmaker to take the oath in Sanskrit. Previously, independent lawmaker Kiran Kumar Sah had taken the oath in Sanskrit after the 2079 elections.
