Khotang and Udayapur recorded heavy rainfall within a 12-hour period.According to records from the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology at 9:30 PM, the Bhainse Lamidanda station in Khotang recorded 75.2 millimeters of rain, while Gadi in Udayapur recorded 49.6 millimeters over the last 12 hours.
