Manipur to Complete Myanmar Border Fence by 2028

India's northeastern state Manipur has set a target to complete the fencing work on the border with Myanmar by 2028, as per New Delhi's plan to tighten security in the troubled border areas. Out of the three hundred ninety-eight kilometer long border area between Manipur and Myanmar, fencing has been completed in only about fifty-five kilometers so far.
