Kathmandu. The Ward Chairman arrested for taking a bribe of three lakh rupees has been convicted of corruption. Janardan Yadav, the Ward Chairman of Marchwari Rural Municipality-3 in Rupandehi, was found guilty by the Special Court.The bench comprising three judges of the Special Court, Narayan Prasad Poudel, Hemanta Rawal, and Umesh Koirala, convicted Yadav on Tuesday.He had taken the bribe through businessman Bipin Kumar Pandey.
