Flood Damages Homes and Livelihoods in Anandbagar, Myagdi

Myagdi. Rudrabahadur Thapa of Anandbagar, Beni Municipality-1, has piled up clothes, utensils, and food grains on plastic made for vegetable farming in the field. Cleaning the mud that entered the house and drying the remaining belongings in the sun has been his daily routine for the past four days.The flood in the Kaligandaki river on October 11 caused significant damage by entering eight houses in Anandbagar. The flood washed away some belongings, while the rest became muddy. Even after four days, the work of removing and cleaning the belongings from inside the houses is not finished.
