Solukhumbu. Tourist movement in the high Himalayan region has been affected due to heavy snowfall in the Khumbu region of Solukhumbu. Snowfall has started in the upper parts of Khumbu after continuous rain.According to Chief District Officer Kamansingh Thapa Magar, more than half a meter of snow has accumulated in the high areas of Khumbu. Due to snowfall, tourists who have gone to the upper areas for trekking and mountaineering have been restricted from proceeding further towards risky locations. He said,
