Postpartum Hemorrhage Victim Rescued by Helicopter from Sankhuwasabha Hospital

Sankhuwasabha. A new mother suffering from excessive bleeding has been rescued by helicopter. District Chief Officer Sirjana Thapaliya informed that Saru Rai, 28, from Makalu Rural Municipality-1, who was admitted to the District Hospital Sankhuwasabha, was rescued by a Nepal Army helicopter after suffering from excessive postpartum hemorrhage. The new mother, Rai, was rescued under the coordination of the Ministry of Women, Children and Senior Citizens through the President Women Upliftment Program.
