Kathmandu. The Nepali Congress has officially begun preparations for its upcoming 15th General Convention. Following its previously published schedule, the party launched its membership distribution and renewal campaign on Chait 21, reaching down to the ward level.To intensify and organize this campaign, the Congress has deployed central representatives to all 77 districts of the country. The party has named this grassroots initiative the 'Jara Abhiyan' (Root Campaign).Speaking to journalists after an orientation program for the central representatives, Congress General Secretary Gagan Thapa provided detailed information about the 'Jara Abhiyan.'
