Two fugitives arrested in Syangja after 29 years on the run for polygamy

Kathmandu. Syangja police have arrested two individuals who had been on the run for the past 29 years after being convicted in a polygamy case. A special team deployed from the District Police Office, Syangja, apprehended 52-year-old Hum Bahadur Thapa (Umakant Pokharel) and 46-year-old Sharada Devi Pokharel of Biruwa Rural Municipality-4 and sent them to prison.The court had convicted them and sentenced them to prison in a polygamy case registered on 2053 Baisakh 19.
