Jumla District Finalizes Voter Rolls and Candidate List for Upcoming House of Representatives Election
Jumla. A total of 71,739 voters are registered in Jumla for the House of Representatives election scheduled for upcoming Falgun 21. Out of the total voters, 34,280 are female and 37,459 are male, informed Dipendra Kandel, Election Officer at the District Election Office, Jumla. Kandel stated that 85 polling stations and 110 polling centers have been established across the district, which comprises one municipality and seven rural municipalities. Security agencies are currently classifying the polling stations based on sensitivity. Election Commission Sets Deadline for Withdrawal of Candidacy Ahead of House of Representatives Polls
Kathmandu. The Election Commission has announced that candidates who have filed for the House of Representatives elections can withdraw their names by 1:00 PM today.According to the election schedule, candidates can withdraw their candidacy from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM today. Furthermore, the final list of candidates will be published between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM today.
