Former King Gyanendra Returns to Kathmandu After Month-Long Stay in Jhapa

Kathmandu. Former King Gyanendra Shah, who returned to Kathmandu on Friday after a stay of several months in Jhapa, headed towards Nirmal Niwas from Tribhuvan International Airport.As Shah emerged from the airport, he was greeted by his supporters. Demonstrators gathered in support of Shah also chanted slogans demanding the restoration of the monarchy.Supporters had gathered outside the airport since Friday morning in anticipation of Shah's arrival.
