The Ayurveda Medical Council Nepal has requested parties not to sell and distribute unregistered medicines and to refrain from making misleading advertisements and publicity in the name of various diseases.In a notice issued by the Council, attention has been drawn to claims of curing diseases like cancer and piles, and to claims of 100 percent cure for complex diseases with money-back guarantees if not cured.According to the Council, such activities confuse the general public, and therefore, it has urged to stop such advertisements and publicity.
