Government Mandates Electronic Attendance System for All Civil Servants
Kathmandu. The government has issued a circular to all ministries, departments, offices, and government agencies, making the implementation of an electronic attendance system mandatory for all employees.The Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration (Administrative Reform and Management Audit Section) issued the directive on Thursday, instructing all subordinate bodies to ensure compliance and maintain proper records. The Ministry has directed that in cases where the system is not yet fully operational, arrangements must be made to record daily attendance (check-in and check-out) electronically.
