Provincial Assembly Member Rekha Sharma Brought to Court for Extension of Detention in Child Labor Exploitation Case
Lumbini Provincial Assembly member Rekha Sharma has been taken to court for an extension of her remand. Sharma, who was arrested on charges of child labor exploitation, was taken from the government attorney's office to the District Court in Kathmandu for a remand extension.She was arrested by the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Team from Dhumbaharai late last night. The Kathmandu Metropolitan City rescued a minor girl from Sharma's residence on Jestha 14, 2081 BS.Previously, the Office of the Attorney General had decided not to proceed with the case against Sharma in the last week of Magh, 2081 BS....
