Birgunj (Parsa), Sept 17: Birgunj metropolis has claimed the loss of some Rs 1.15 billion in the vandalism and arson committed during the Gen-Z protest last week. Chief administrative officer in the metropolitan office, Arbind Lal Karna, said various office buildings received severe damages in the protest. Collection of detail information on the damages of ward offices and health facilities is continuous, he added. The detail information on the loss could ratchet up to as high as Rs 1.50 billion.
