Rainfall and Snowfall Expected Across Nepal Due to Westerly Disturbance

Kathmandu. Due to the influence of a westerly low-pressure system and local winds, the weather has changed, and rainfall has begun in western Nepal. According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the sky is currently fully overcast in Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim provinces, while the rest of the country remains partly cloudy.The department reported that light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning is currently occurring in a few places across Bagmati, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim provinces.
