Kathmandu. A two-and-a-half-story house has collapsed in Dhapakhel, Lalitpur Metropolitan City-24, due to a landslide. The house collapsed because of a landslide below the house after the ground became saturated, SP Gautam Mishra of the District Police Complex Lalitpur told Ratopati.The house of Shovitkumar Thapa collapsed on Monday morning. SP Mishra said there was no human casualty as the family residing in the house was moved from there yesterday after assessing the risk.The house collapsed due to the ground becoming saturated because of continuous rainfall since October 9.
