A case has been filed in a Washington court against 31-year-old Cole Thomas Allen of California on charges of attempting to assassinate U.S. President Donald Trump.He was arrested on charges of attempting to breach security and attack during the White House Correspondents Association dinner event last Saturday at the Washington Hilton Hotel.According to prosecutors, Allen attacked a security checkpoint with a semi-automatic handgun, a pump-action shotgun, and three knives.
