Manpower Agencies Announce Nationwide Strike Over Unaddressed Demands

Kathmandu. The Nepal Association of Foreign Employment Agencies has announced the closure of all manpower agencies across the country starting Monday, citing the government's indifference to their various demands. The association has stated that not only manpower offices but also all processes for sending workers abroad through manpower agencies will be completely halted.The association had previously halted pre-final labor approvals, new advertisements, and visa stamping as part of its phased protests.
