Minister for Agriculture, Forest and Environment, Gita Chaudhary, has directed the implementation of the Livestock Slaughterhouse and Meat Inspection Act, 2055, within three months.During a discussion with the chiefs and representatives of local levels in the Kathmandu Valley on Friday, she gave instructions to start the process and implement the act effectively.Minister Chaudhary stated that since it is a matter directly related to the health of consumers, the implementation of the act is essential to ensure the right of citizens to consume clean, quality, and inspected meat.
