Rastriya Swatantra Party Takes Commanding Lead in Proportional Representation Vote Count

Kathmandu. As the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) secures encouraging results in the House of Representatives elections 2082 under the first-past-the-post system, a similar wave is being observed in the counting of votes under the proportional representation (PR) system.According to the latest integrated data provided by the Election Commission, the RSP has maintained a significant lead, leaving other established and older parties far behind.Out of a total of 33,389 votes counted so far, the RSP alone has secured 19,025 votes.
