Police have arrested one person on charges of assaulting a Dalit woman in Siraha.Police arrested 55-year-old Pavnitranarayan Yadav of Naraha Rural Municipality-3 from New Choharwa on Saturday evening.Yadav is accused of assaulting 60-year-old Phoolkumari Mandal. Police said that Mandal was assaulted on the afternoon of Baisakh 27 because her buffalo had gone into Yadav's field.Victim Mandal had filed a complaint at the District Police Office for indecent behavior, stating that she had been subjected to injustice.
