Washington DC. US President Donald Trump has welcomed Chinese President Xi Jinping to Washington with unprecedented formal honors during a three-day visit. Xi's visit, amid an ongoing trade war between the two countries, is considered important from the perspective of US-China relations.At Joint Base Andrews, Xi and his wife Peng Liyuan were welcomed by Trump and First Lady Melania Trump on the red carpet.
