Microfinance victims protesting with various demands have started an indefinite hunger strike at Maitighar Mandala in Kathmandu.The microfinance victims, who drew the government's attention by holding a 'Capital March' last Sunday, have been on an indefinite hunger strike at Maitighar since Tuesday morning.The protestors have demanded the public release and implementation of past reports related to microfinance, an end to financial exploitation of borrowers by microfinance, banks, and financial institutions, and the abolition of high and compound interest.
