Despite the recent expansion of the Cabinet, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has chosen to keep seven important ministries under his own responsibility. According to a notice released by the President's Office, the ministries he will directly manage are Foreign Affairs; Defense; Drinking Water; Women, Children and Senior Citizens; Forest and Environment; Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation; and Labour, Employment and Social Security.
