40 Injured in Monkey Attacks in Nepalgunj
Banke. 40 people have been injured in monkey attacks in Nepalgunj. Civilians are getting injured in the process of chasing away monkeys. In the last one and a half months alone, 40 civilians injured in monkey attacks have come to Bheri Hospital in Nepalgunj for treatment, said Dr. Badri Chapagain, who is studying patients of snake and animal bites at Bheri Hospital. He said that the incident of people getting injured and coming to the hospital due to monkey bites in Nepalgunj is new.

Surkhet. Karnali Province has a total of 213,544 hectares of arable land. However, statistics show that year-round irrigation facility is available in only 26.99 percent of the land so far.The review report of the fiscal year completed by the Ministry of Energy and Water Resources of the province mentions that out of the total arable land, 130,731 hectares are under cultivation.Even within the cultivated area, year-round irrigation facility is available in 35,297 hectares, which is 26.99 percent. Seasonal irrigation facility reaches 5,230 hectares (4.0 percent).
