Two escaped prisoners recaptured in Kathmandu
Kathmandu. Police have recaptured two prisoners who escaped from the Central Jail in Jagannath Dewal by taking advantage of anti-government protests held in Kathmandu last Bhadra.A special team from the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office apprehended the two suspects, who were facing charges of theft and drug-related offenses, while they were in hiding.They had broken through the prison security perimeter during the protests on Bhadra 24. Father arrested in Kathmandu for allegedly raping his teenage daughter
Kathmandu. Police have arrested a father in Boudha, Kathmandu, on charges of raping his daughter. A 30-year-old man has been taken into custody for the alleged rape of a 16-year-old girl.The teenager, originally from Panchthar and residing in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-6, Boudha, filed a complaint at the Boudha Police Circle on Chaitra 27, alleging she had been raped.
