NCP Postpones Unity General Convention, Launches Special Mass Campaign
Kathmandu. The pre-scheduled unification general convention of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has been affected. The central coordination committee meeting held at Parisdanda, the central office, on Tuesday decided to conduct a 'Special Mass Campaign', abandoning the previous decision.Leaders say that the general convention will not be held as the meeting decided to conduct a two-month 'Special Mass Campaign' for the adjustment of the party and people's organizations, party membership distribution and renewal, and strengthening of the party organization.
