Long holiday sees 90 per cent hotel occupancy in Pokhara
Pokhara, Oct 26: Pokhara is currently witnessing an influx of domestic as well as foreign tourists. The long Dashain-Tihar holidays, clear mountain view and favorable weather have seen an encouraging buzz in Pokhara's hotels, restaurants and other tourism activities. Pathibhara sees 6,393 devotees on Saturday
Taplejung, Oct 26: Pathibhara temple, one of the famour religious site of Koshi, saw a large number of devotees on Saturday. This was the highest in terms of numbers this season, according to the Pathibhara Area Development Committee. A total of 6,393 devotees visited Pathibhara on a single day on Saturday. Devotees stood in queue from 3:00 am to 3:00 pm to offer prayers at the revered shrine. Though pilgrims visit Pathibhara throughout the year, the number is usually high during Dashain-Tihar festival.
