Candidates in Palpa-2 Reach Agreement for Upcoming By-election
Kathmandu. An agreement has been reached between Bodhraj Bhandari, the candidate of the Progressive Democratic Party (PrLoPa), and independent candidate Mohan Thapa Magar in Palpa Constituency No. 2.It was agreed that PrLoPa candidate Bhandari would withdraw his candidacy for the House of Representatives election scheduled for this Falgun 21 and instead support independent candidate Thapa Magar.The agreement reached on Sunday is to vote for Thapa Magar, whose election symbol is the 'Pressure Cooker', to ensure his victory.It was also agreed that both candidates would vote for the PrLoPa election symbol 'Eye' for the proportional representation votes in this election.An appeal...

The electoral contest in Gorkha is set to become interesting after the Progressive Democratic Party (PrLoPa) decided to support the Nepali Congress candidates in both constituencies of Gorkha.The PrLoPa Gorkha District Committee had decided to support Prem Kumar Khatri in Gorkha-1 and Prakashchandra Dawadi in Gorkha-2.
