Habeas Corpus Filed in Supreme Court Demanding Release of Former PM KP Sharma Oli
Kathmandu. A habeas corpus petition has been filed in the Supreme Court demanding the release of former Prime Minister and CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli.Oli's wife, Radhika Shakya, filed the habeas corpus petition on the grounds that he was illegally arrested and detained. According to Nirajan Pandey, the information officer for the Supreme Court, although the habeas corpus petition has been submitted, it is currently under review.
