Six Bulldozers Prepared for Relocation of High-Risk Settlements Along Bagmati River Banks
Kathmandu. Six bulldozers have been kept ready for the relocation of high-risk settlements along the banks of the Bagmati and its tributaries in the Kathmandu Valley, as part of the second phase. These bulldozers have started moving towards the river banks from Teku, in front of Kalopul. The government has tightened security in the areas where bulldozers are being prepared. In some places, security personnel are assisting in moving belongings. Although the bulldozers were scheduled to start at 7 AM, the work had not yet begun by 8:15 AM....
