Kathmandu. Twelve candidates elected in the House of Representatives election held on Falgun 21 secured more than 50,000 votes under the first-past-the-post system. All candidates who received over 50,000 votes belong to the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP).The highest number of votes was secured by Balen Shah (Balen), the candidate from Jhapa-5 for the RSP.
