MP Raises Concern Over ICU Interviews in Parliament
Kathmandu. The issue of an interview being taken inside an ICU has entered the House of Representatives meeting. In the emergency time of the meeting, National Independent Party (RSP) MP Sumitra BC raised a question about the act of taking interviews in a ward where sensitive and critically ill patients are treated. She mentioned that the ICU is a special ward designated for the treatment of critically ill patients in a highly sensitive and complex condition in the hospital. Three arrested with marijuana smuggled from Thailand
Kathmandu. The Narcotics Control Bureau has arrested 3 people from Soalrkhutte, Kathmandu, with marijuana brought from Thailand. Jin Jin Phyo, 29, from Myanmar, brought marijuana by bringing it through Hong Kong via Vietnam on a Cathay Pacific flight. SSP Subas Bohora of the Narcotics Control Bureau told Ratopati that she was arrested from Soalrkhutte after being followed from the airport on Bhadra 28. The police have recovered 3 kg of marijuana she brought.SSP Bohora said that two others who came from India to receive the marijuana have also been arrested.
