Kathmandu. Minister of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Birajbhakta Shrestha, has established a 'Governance Unit' with the objective of making the ministry's performance more efficient, transparent, and result-oriented.The unit was established in accordance with the Good Governance (Management and Operation) Act, 2064, relevant regulations, and the decision of the Council of Ministers of the Government of Nepal.The unit will conduct regular monitoring and evaluation of the performance of employees working in the ministry and its subordinate bodies.The newly formed unit will be coordinated by the Joint Secretary of the Administration Division.
