Bagmati, Sept 17: The police office in Makwanpur has been active in search of the looted items from various government offices and ministries in Hetauda during the Gen-Z protest. The police persons are documenting and inspecting the CCTV footages and videos posted on social media that show the looted items and the persons involved in looting. Birgunj (Parsa), Sept 17: Birgunj metropolis has claimed the loss of some Rs 1.15 billion in the vandalism and arson committed during the Gen-Z protest last week. Chief administrative officer in the metropolitan office, Arbind Lal Karna, said various office buildings received severe damages in the protest. Jumla, Sept 17: Two roadways under the Karnali Highway have been obstructed due to landslide last night. The landslide occurred at Gaganekhola of Shubhakalika rural municipality-1 of Kalikot, disrupting the vehicular movement. Gaganekhola is the most vulnerable spot along the Karnali Highway. Chief of Jumla Road Division, Dipendra Chaudhary, informed there was no vehicular movement on the road because of landslide triggered by the incessant rainfall last night.
